On our cover...
Ithaca Child's own Evan Graney is the first of what may be many children who's artwork will be featured on the cover of Ithaca Child.

Evan is the child of Publishers Jim Graney and Heidi Lieb-Graney. Now, age 7, Evan has asked for some time to be able to illustrate a cover for the paper. Without any ideas or help from us, he recently created this illustration with crayon. We thought it a nice bright way to bring some color into our very white winter and decided to use it.

Now, we are inviting children to submit their own artwork for consideration and possible use on future covers. Not every issue will feature a child's artwork on the cover; but since we are named Ithaca Child, we thought this would be something nice to try!
