On our cover...
Our cover artist is Nicole Ramos, a 14 year old in the 9th grade at Dryden High School. I am on the Varsity Swim team and a pitcher on the JV Softball team. I love to play softball and pitching puts you in the middle of all the action. The picture is of my wonderful Dryden Softball team. Nicole says she just sat down and decided to draw after seeing that Ithaca Child is looking for artwork to put on the newspaper. Nicole writes, "I love art because it is a great way to express yourself. Art is a language we all know. I have taken art in school all my life and I have always enjoyed it. I am currently taking ceramics. Art is a way we all connect in one way or another."
