On our cover...
Esther Greenhouse has drawn from her own past memories to help create Ithaca Child's Winter 2003 cover. While the scene may look familiar to many Ithacans (where are those famous half-moon cookies?!) Ester's inspiration comes from a place farther from our home...in fact the bakery in this pictures is based on one previously found in great Neck on Long Island.

The illustration from the window was Esther's original painting. Inspired to add an office for Ithaca Child, the part above the bakery window was added as a seperate painting and then blended together with the logo using Adobe PhotoShopTM.
